The Centre is part of a global cooperative effort to expand the understanding and use of research-based evidence to produce the best patient outcomes.

"The nation must significantly expand its capacity to use scientific evidence to asses 'what works in health care.'" (Institute of Medicine 2008)

Systematic reviews are a key strategy to realize this goal. We are certified Joanne Briggs Institute trainers and offer opportunities for anyone interested in learning how to conduct a systematic review.
