- Introducing and evaluating evidence-based clinical practice
innovations, in collaboration with clinical and administrative
leaders in patient care.
- Reviewing, coordinating and facilitating research in patient
care settings.
- Collaborating in conducting patient outcome and clinical effectiveness
research.
- Conducting new product clinical evaluations that are likely
to improve the quality, costs or outcomes of patient care.
- Assessing the scientific validity and clinical effectiveness
of patient care policies, procedures, assessments and interventions
that are aligned with performance improvement priorities.
- Consulting in patient care research methods, design, tactics,
measurement, proposal development and human subjects protection.
- Processing, analyzing, interpreting and appropriately reporting
statistical data emerging from Center research and performance
improvement activities.
- Disseminating emerging Center results and accomplishments internally
and externally through presentations and publications.
- Pursuing and obtaining external funds through grants and contracts
to advance the strategic work of the Center and expedite expansion
of its activities.
Foster workplace environments that optimize professional role development,
interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical practice integrity and
quality patient care.
Strengthen the scientific validity and effectiveness of patient
care practices.

Facilitate research by bridging the gap between nursings
research, education and clinical practice enterprises.
Foster capacity to interpret, apply and conduct research that improves
patient care quality, cost and outcomes through supporting investigative
role development among clinical staff and their leadership teams.

Serve as a source for emerging new knowledge for nursing practice,
innovation transfer, and clinical practice guidelines and best practices.Collaborate in regional, statewide and national projects, studies
and collaborative efforts that are aligned with the Centers
mission and advance the Centers efforts.
