Who do we see?

We see babies, little kids, teenagers, and young adults.
Once you reach that magical 21st birthday, it will be time for you to see a provider for adults; until then, count on us.

What do we do?

Well exams
Sick Visits
Sports physicals
Immunizations and tuberculosis screening
Health education
Fitness and nutritional counseling
Care management for chronic conditions
Confidential teen services
Resources and referrals for behavioral and for mental health problems

Special Services for Adolescents

CONFIDENTIALITY

Confidentiality means,
whatever happens at VHS
stays at VHS.

For adolescents, in addition to all of the services listed above, we offer confidential sexual health services.

You do not need your parent or guardian's permission to receive sexual healthcare at VHS.

Our healthcare practitioners cannot (by law) and will not (ethically) give your parents or guardians any information about the sexual health treatment you receive here.

Birth control
Safe sex information
Emergency contraception (e.g., “day after pill” or “Plan B”)
Testing for sexually transmitted infections
Pap smears and pelvic exams
Pregnancy testing and counseling
