Dr. Kang is Assistant
Researcher at the Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Kang
provided statistical analysis and data management for the Center for
Personal Assistance Services, which conducts national statistical
studies on disability and personal assistance needs, and the Disability
Statistics Rehabilitation Research and Training Center at the Institute
for Health and Aging, University of California.
Recently, Dr. Kang
worked on studies of service utilization and expenditures for
individuals with developmental disabilities, and research comparing
California’s personal care option program (In-Home Supportive Services,
or IHSS) and a Medicaid waiver known as IHSS Plus.
