EARLY Trial

This web site is for the "EARLY Trial" research study at UCSF School of Nursing. EARLY is an acronym that stands for:

 Endothelial
 Assessment of
 Risk from
 Lipids in
 Youth

The main aim of this study is to find out if various supplements, along with following a NCEP Step II Diet (low cholesterol diet), will help to improve endothelial function, or ability of blood vessels to dilate, in children and adolescents who have high cholesterol.

We had each participant and his/her parent fill out an evaluation form to let us know how we did and we can improve your experience. See comments from both the kids and their parents to see what their points of view were.
