UCSF Nursing Press publishes high quality books in the fields of nursing and health care.
For over fifteen years the press has produced cutting edge publications and other educational materials aimed at health care professionals and students as well as invaluable consumer guides for patients.
Written by internationally recognized teachers, scholars, and clinicians affiliated with the School of Nursing at
University of California, San Francisco, UCSF Nursing Press publications
have won a number of awards and been adopted in schools, universities, hospitals, and clinics throughout the world.

News - "Promise on Parnassus"
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of UCSF School of Nursing
(see centennial website),
the Press has published "Promise on Parnassus:
the First Century of the UCSF School of Nursing" (2007)
by Associate Dean Emerita Marilyn E. Flood.

Other Projects
Culture and Clinical Care was released in April 2005.
Revised and expanded, the new edition replaced Culture and Nursing Care: A Pocket Guide (1996).
This new version boasts eleven additional cultural groups and updates of the groups
previously featured in the old edition as well as a new user friendly format.
Culture and Clinical Care is no longer spiral-bound and is
trade paperback size.
An updated second edition of the popular
Women's Health Care: Protocols for Practice
was released in January 2004.
