As an example, my dissertation examined the effect of a 6-kg weightload during a 12 week walking program designed for middle-aged, pre-menopausal women. Dependent variables included lipids, body composition, and exercise testing measures. I am interested in clinical research and have collected data for clinical trials on depression after MI, and a program for smoking cessation for women with heart disease.
