Research/Academic Interests

I am studying the impact of asthma self-management training on patient perceived asthma severity, asthma control, adherence to therapy, quality of life, lung function, and markers of inflammation in airway secretions.

My academic work includes the study of innovative delivery designs to improve the care of people with chronic illness in primary care settings and the impact of enhancing patient-clinician partnerships on chronic illness outcomes.
